Assessing your Move

We begin by carrying out a thorough survey of your current and future locations; then we present a detailed assessment of your move. The proposal has built-in flexibility from the outset – you may want your own staff to handle certain aspects of the project and leave us to look after the rest.

Alternatively you may prefer us to manage the entire programme, from basic furniture removal through to complete connectivity, with regular progress reports at every stage. And you may want to consider space planning at the new location, or carry out audits of your existing furniture, filing and ICT capabilities: here too we can help you get the best out of your move. We’ll even advise on internal communication and planning.

In other words, Cadogan Tate tailors every aspect of the move programme to your specific requirements.

ICT Relocation

Cadogan Tate’s ICT experts are assigned to the project team from the outset. Working with your own ICT manager they make a detailed appraisal of your requirements, then execute as much or as little of the move as you require: from simple relocation of hardware, to design and pre-installation of a complete new cabling infrastructure.

Making the Move

For the move itself, all the elements of the plan come together in an impressively detailed operation. Cadogan Tate’s moving staff are highly trained, experienced and security cleared – you’ll also find them helpful, hardworking and polite. And they’ll take care of everything on the day, from bringing in specialist lifting equipment to transporting safes.

Where our own ICT team are involved, they’ll re-commission your desktop and server hardware and ensure complete connectivity of your information and telecoms systems; they’re on hand after the move too. And when everything’s up and running, our team will present a comprehensive de-brief of the move.

Storage and Archive Management

Our offsite storage charges per square foot can be as little as 25% of your own office- and production-space costs, so it makes sense to see storage as a permanent part of your property and facilities management portfolio. We collect and deliver between your site and our own state-of-the-art, clean, modern, secure, computer-controlled warehouses. We can provide a completely bespoke management programme for your furniture, stock, components and spares, with on-line access to records and web-based ordering and instruction systems. Or we can simply containerise your property for short or long-term storage and return it to you whenever you want it.

And, or course we have a full service archive management facility, including existing document auditing, supply of archive storage cartons, reports on document ageing and destruction prompting, retrieval systems including DX, confidential shredding, and electronic document management.

Churn and Fit-Out

For internal moves within your existing property portfolio, we offer the “Cadogan Tate Churn Matrix”, a comprehensive service which combines management, planning, resource supply and sign-off in a single package, with fixed price costings per head. All your Facilities Manager has to do is consult the tailor-made template and give the go-ahead. We then carry out the entire plan without the involvment of your staff.

We also have full space planning and interior fit-out capabilities, including furniture assembly partitioning and voice and data network installation.
